Since Bell has been the owner, customer service has been absent at the post, I am seriously considering changing the internet provider, a service declared essential by the government.

Last year, I changed my internet plan to IP telephony via cable. Since then, I have had unstable internet and customer service (sometimes difficult to reach), I have been told everything and the opposite depending on the person on the other end. And nothing was resolved to my satisfaction. Following the major outage on July 24, we have had no explanation for what happened. I learned that B2B2C has just been purchased by Bell after EBOX. I then understood why in the last few weeks, I was being harassed by unidentified telephones (like Bell) to change our cable for fiber and the possibility of TV $$ with Ebox. Ah! Help!

Since July 1, 2024, in three weeks, I have had 3 outages with B2B2C in broad daylight, during teleworking hours. Each time, it was impossible to reach the company by telephone because its telephone lines were also down. I had no way to contact a technician to find out how to reestablish the connection. I took the initiative myself the 3 times of resetting the modem with the tip of a pencil, behind the modem. It functioned. I pity the customers who didn't think to do this. After 3 outages, I change Internet provider. I need to be able to telework 35 hours a week, and going without Internet is not an option.
